This family is one of the most adorable families on the planet. It's a little unfair how photogenic they all are, and I am so excited they had me take their family photos this year!! AT THE FAIR!! Kelsey also told me she already has a spot picked out in the house just waiting for prints of these bad boys so I'm way excited to finally be sharing these all.
So this is how you handle a carnival session with kids... It's always confusing to children to be taken to a fun atmosphere like a park, a playground or a FAIR and have to sit still and take pictures (like whaaat?!). So you have to spend WEEKS ahead of time letting them know the plan. First, we'll take pictures when we're in our nice clothes. THEN, we get to stuff our faces with cotton candy and get super gross! Then we'll change into play clothes and ride allllll the rides (ok like 2). Come the day of the event, bring along a nanny, and when it's time for mom and dad to take photos alone together the nanny can bring them to rides while you continue having a fun adult time, laughing and walking around and smooching in public for the camera ;). It's genius and worked like a charm for these little ones!
I wish there was always an event like this going on so that I could do fair sessions all year round, but I guess they wouldn't be so special if that were the case. Please enjoy some of my absolute favorites here from the Gamsos family session!
