First, I saw them online through Facebook friends. Then, I secretly fell in love with them from afar hoping to one day take their pictures. Next, I received a beautiful email from Brandon asking me to photograph the proposal! And I was suddenly then the happiest little photographer that ever was. We'd been waiting for this gorgeous day for SO LONG! I can't believe it's already come and gone.
So the day started with Courtney giving me a gift that immediately brought me to actual crying tears. Not like one little sparkle in the corner of my eye, like I cried and then laughed at myself because I couldn't stop. (The gift was a baby onesie which was the first item I'd received for little baby Dahlberg since we found out he was coming and I guess I got hit with one too many feels...)
After the most adorable first look ever (do you see the way that man's lookin' at his woman ;)?? ), we took a bunch of super cute pictures, then headed to the "chapel" to get married. Courtney and her dad majestically walked down the spiral staircase to the sweet outdoor ceremony awaiting, and these two became husband and wife! The ceremony was funny, and SO so beautiful. I never grow tired of hearing the way marriage resembles God's love for us.
The rest of the night consisted of delicious food, a super awesome jam sesh (thanks Jamaal!), and a really beautiful paper lantern tribute to Brandon's mother. It was such a perfect day! The sun was perfect, the temperature was perfect, the couple was gorgeous and so much fun to be around, and I just miss it all.
Thank you again Brandon and Courtney for having me there! Please enjoy a collection of some of my favorites from the day below <3
As always, a huge THANK YOU to all the wonderful people who brought this day together so seamlessly!
