Mine and Danielle's friendship is one of the oldest I have. She's always been a constant reminder of the amazing childhood we shared. From reading endless amounts of books and lemonade stands in elementary school to chatting boys on Yahoo instant messenger in middle and high school, we grew up a lot together. With the most infectious laugh and the kindest heart, it's no wonder we still keep in touch.
Going home to Wilmington, Ohio is always the highlight of my year. This time Danielle asked me to take some family photos for her and I knew it wouldn't disappoint! Her children look JUST LIKE HER! Sorry Alex, these kiddos are all Danielle! We had amazing weather, amazing sunshine, and an equally amazing field of flowers to play in.
Usually when you tell children to love on each other and cuddle and play, you get some laughs because the thought was so absurd in the first place. But these two little angels played right along. All the smiles and laughs that evening. Then it was Alex and Danielle's turn to shine! I always like to have parents (especially of young children) take a moment to focus on each other and just let the kids do their own thing while we get some pictures of them alone. It was so comforting to see Alex look at Danielle the way he does. I have no doubts that laughter and love are in abundance in the Chestnut household! It just wasn't enough time with them <3
So please enjoy some of my absolute favorites from the session! I am very thankful to be able to watch this family grow together from afar on Facebook and am so happy to know them.
