This cute little trio met with me last year for a family session, and this year they decided to do the same! This time we had mildly chilly weather (well, it was around 80 degrees so I guess it's safer to say that it wasn't scorching out). They went for a fall theme and considering we don't experience more than a few days of fall, I'm all for it! We hung out around the Preserve until the sun was just about gone (as I usually do) and I think we were able to get plenty of good shots for the Christmas cards this year!
Parents with kids, listen.. Your little ones will almost ALWAYS get impatient with sitting for pictures, and it will NEVER surprise or offend me! When they start to get antsy I like to just let them walk around, have a little fun, and snap pictures of them being them! I'm not one for highly posed shots. If I'm lucky I'll get a few of them looking at the camera and smiling but honestly that's not what I'm after. I'm looking for the authentic moments of joy on their face that happen when dad turns them upside down and tickles their tummy! So please, don't ever be embarrassed when your little kids act like little kids. They're beautiful, special and every one unique. I personally envy the spark in them <3
