For those of you who don't know, I'm originally from Ohio. I've been in Florida since my sophomore year of high school, but to me Wilmington, Ohio is and always will be home. This session reminded me so much of Ohio! I never thought I'd miss all the fields and barns and open space, but after living in a town where having a backyard is a luxury I often find myself dreaming of cornfields and country roads.
Jaci and Daniel are getting married at the charming Santa Fe River Ranch in Alachua later on this year. They allowed us to also use the grounds for the engagement session! I was dying to get in with the cows, but we were able to capture quite a bit of the cute hay barrels and warm sunshine the property had to offer instead.
These two were telling me the story of how they met and fell in love. She was renting a home from his parents. Over time they developed a close friendship and one day, they shared a hug that changed everything. At that moment they knew! Fast forward a bit and here we are celebrating their engagement and the joining of their little families! I'm so excited to document their wedding!
