Feely Family Farm Fantabulousness

I have no words to accurately describe my love and appreciation for this beauty and her family, so I'll just leave it at that. I was more than thrilled to document the 5 year milestone for Christina and her man, and to also capture moments of their children on their new forever home farm! Christina wanted to do sort of a "trash the dress" session, mixed in with an anniversary session and couple's session as well. She couldn't bring herself to actually trash the dress though (can you blame her, it's beautiful!). So they all just had fun rolling around in the hay for a bit with the horses.

It's always funny to me going back through the photos of a session with children, and being amazed at how many times the children are laughing. For some reason the parents only remember the crying (which ALWAYS happens. Seriously, always. Don't beat yourself up). I'm really glad to be able to capture the laughs though. Sounds a little cheesy but I mean it sincerely. I think the parents remember the crying because they feel guilty for some reason that their children are acting like... children. The less than ideal behavior is such a tiny piece of the evening though! And I get to give them the good memories that highlight the best parts of their little rugrats, The photos they get to keep, are ones that show true joy! Because we all know a child won't smile unless they truly mean it, amiright?!

These little munchkins were incredibly cooperative (obviously, their mother is a photographer) and could always be persuaded with a "TICKLE FIGHT!" They love their mom and dad, and it truly shows. I am so happy to be in their lives and to continue watching them grow! Thanks for having me, Feely Family! <3 <3

A special THANK YOU to Kasey for the GORGEOUS hair and make up, and to Birdie Baby Boutique for the darling flower crowns!
