What a beautifully perfect day to have an engagement session outdoors. I was a little nervous going to Bok Tower because of their hours. They close up shop at 6pm, and I usually don't even start shooting until around 630 for the best golden hour sunlight! Fortunately for us though, with all the beautiful gardens, tall trees and breathtaking buildings around, the sun wasn't too bright and we were able to capture some amazing shots. There was a wedding going on the grounds as we were wandering around taking photos, so nobody noticed when we were in there until around 630! We ran outside to capture the last few shots in the fields that overlook the tower. Something about warm sunshine bursting through golden strands of grass just makes for some dreamy pictures!
Deanna and Brent were spectacular in front of the camera. You'd never know they were a little shy about it at first. Really though, if a couple is nervous I just remind them that as long as they're ok with snuggling and kissing in front of me, they'll do just fine. Leave the rest up to me! If I'm being quiet, it's because I like what you're doing. Do more of it. If you're kissing? Kiss harder! If you're cuddling, cuddle with a little smile. If you're dancing, just keep on going because I'm probably loving the laughs and the intimate moments.
Deanna and Brent, it was a pleasure hanging with you for a couple hours! Can't wait for the wedding in DECEMBER!
