Carolina Dream | Pretty Place Mountaintop Wedding

When Brice and De first asked me to accompany them to the Carolinas for a mountaintop wedding, I said yes before they could even finish their sentence. I've mentioned before that I'm from Ohio, now living in Florida, so mountains have always been a uniquely special treat to me.

My wonderful friend Christina (or as I like to call her, my biggest fan) asked me to ride along to the wedding with her and her husband, to enjoy the ride together and make a road trip out of it! I know the idea of spending hours and hours in the car doesn’t seem all the appealing, but when good friends are involved it really makes the trip exciting and full of memories. We got to the hotel in time for the wedding party and all the guests to meet at a local brewery to hang, dance, chat, and catch up before the big day!

The day of the wedding went so quickly, as it usually does, and was just as wonderful as we'd all imagined. The ceremony was at high noon, but the weather was just perfect and a much cooler alternative to the Florida sun we're all used to. Since there was a small crowd of family and friends who traveled for the elopement, everyone got to have the best seat in the house during the ceremony! After a little praise and worship we watched as Pastor Bruce led them into a beautiful union.

It's always so wonderful when two amazing people come together. You know that the world is now a little better equipped with the pairing of two passionate souls, out for doing good in the world around them. It was an honor being there to capture these moments, and to share in the joy of it all.

I never take for granted what I get to do.
