Megan and Casey may have gotten married in December but you'd never know. We had the most beautiful sunshine, perfectly warm-but-not-too-hot temperatures, and a well-executed timeline that allowed for a lot of breathing room throughout the day. These two decided to do a first look! Which, is not only incredibly romantic and intimate, but is also a friend of the wedding day timeline! When the bride and groom are able to see each other before the ceremony, we are given the opportunity to take all the bridal party portraits early on in the day. We knocked out family photos after the ceremony, caught a few more photos of the newly married couple then headed to the party with all the guests. It was awesomely smooth.
The details of this reception blew me away. The rustic feel of the trees at the Barn at Chapel Creek mixed with the elegance of the gold and floral table designs just made me feel like I was in a styled wedding photoshoot. The cake was so delicious looking I honestly was a little sad to see it go (although I enjoyed every bite of my piece of course...). I do have to say, the dance party was my favorite part of this wedding. When the whole slew of wedding guests find themselves jamming out on the dance floor, it makes for an unforgettable party (kudos Jamaal!).
